The temporary institution "Art association Zurich" installed a modulare project space: Waescherei or Laundry. The concept was developed as a Masterproject of the Postgraduate Programme in Curating, a team of different cultural producers now formulates the programme. It consists of film screeings, literature, contemporary art, music, neighbourhood projects and talks. The concept takes into considerartion the restructuring of the area, Kreis 4, where at the moment drug dealers, prostitutes, cultural producers and party people meet at the weekends. Also older inhabitants are still staying on in the area. Part of the programme is also an artist residence programme. The project got a price for off spaces in 2011.
