Migration is the talk of the town. Buzzwords and phrases like “immigration land”, “integration”, “problems with foreigners”, “hyperxenesis”, “multi-culti” – expressions of utopias and nightmares – testify to the popularity of the topic. But concealed behind the words and phrases and the unceasing discussions with their often deadlocked standpoints, there lies a widely diverse reality. Migration is bringing about appreciable changes in everyday life.
The exhibition invites visitors to take an entertaining, informative, playful, and sometimes abysmal look at changing society – in the recent works of thirty artists, placed on view in a former discotheque.
