Food as a metonym for hospitality and communication within the curatorial practice

The research will look into different theories to observe the notions of hospitality through means of food as an agent of communication to be understood and applied into the curatorial praxis.

Giovanna Bragaglia completed the Postgraduate Programme in Curating in 2018. With a professional background in cultural institutions in Brazil, including Paço das Artes and Instituto Moreira Salles, she is currently the research assistant of the Programme in Curating and part of the curatorial team of the OnCurating Project Space. She has curated a broad range of exhibitions in São Paulo and Zurich, and currently, as an independent curator, she holds a particular interest in issues dealing with notions of hospitality and encounters in relation to deterritorialized geography.
