In an era where the digital landscape increasingly shapes our cultural and creative experiences, how can we understand the internet as a medium for artistic expression? “ABBA. About Browser-Based Art” delves into the world of online art, where creativity intersects with code, and the browser becomes a platform for thinking and personal articulation.
This workshop invites participants to explore the unique possibilities of art that exists within and through web browsers. By examining the intersection of digital culture, web development, and contemporary art, we will uncover how browser-based art challenges traditional notions of space, interaction, and audience. Through theoretical discussions and critical analysis, we’ll explore how artists use the internet to redefine art, creating works that push the boundaries of what art can be in the digital age.
