Ways of Seeing Otherwise: Honoring John Berger in the Now-Time
ZHdK, Room 6.K04
Seeing is neither innocent nor passive, but an active way of making sense of the world. Where are we now? What still matters is who uses images for what purposes, and how the gap between word and image, between seeing and saying, is negotiated.
