International Curatorial Workshop: Curating and Social Change in Hong Kong
The workshop did emphasise the question of how to connect social change with curatorial practice. The participants were young curators and students of curatorial studies who have started to develop their own curatorial projects. In this way, the dialogue of the participants with different social, political, and cultural backgrounds was challenging and fruitful in Hong Kong. Questions on how to achieve social change were discussed in the workshop, and individual projects were developed in discussion with the workshop leader Dorothee Richter. Public talks by Yang Yeung, Kacey Wong, Michael Leung, Bo Zheng, Clara Cheung and wen yau. Visiting also Spring Workshops, Para Site, C& G Artpartment.
