Public Engagement at TBA21-Academy
Introducing TBA21–Academy, a contemporary art foundation and cultural ecosystem fostering a deeper understanding of and relationship to the Ocean through the arts to inspire care and action.
We are working together on how to bring the empirical approach of science together with the narrative capability of art, for fostering new and multiple forms of world-making, storytelling and way-finding, and to imagine a different future.
After ten years of creating content, raising awareness and visibility, researching, creating new knowledges and analysing them, we’ve identified a number of fundamental challenges the Ocean is facing through the way societies at large are engaging with it, and so over the last years our vision has sharpened into contributing to a world where everyone cares for the Ocean.
The talk takes you onto a journey how we work and how we think as a collective body, a metabolism of formats and activities, and to discuss how this can contribute to the discourse of curating.
