My main interest is to work side by side with artists. I like to say that I curate people and not art works.
Having the opportunity to create an international network through the program, I could manage to start thinking more globally and became very interested in creating an international dialogue, not only between artists but also other art related professionals.
I am running KUNSTHALLE São Paulo, an art space that I founded in 2012, and which was the outcome of my Master’s thesis. Since then, following all the theoretical proposals I had established for the “institution” in the thesis, I have tried out different formats of activities in order to involve a broader public than the usual contemporary one. In the last year and a half, I have focused more on the practice of exhibition making itself, emphasizing the creative process that takes place in the relation between artist and curator.
