I am interested in working with living artists in the public dissemination and public engagement of their work and practises. This includes drawing links to historical moments and current
urgencies that facilitate the broader understanding of the works.
The practical aspect of the programme was useful as an exercise on how to realise projects in safe environment. The exuberant highs and lows of how project are handled and made from concept to the eventual realisation and to be comfortable with the organic nature of the process.
My position is Curator, Michaelis Galleries, University of Cape Town, Michaelis School of Fine Art.

Decolonisation and the Scopic regime 2017 an exhibition programme of (films, photographs, media based works) and discussions around the issues of decolonization, the scopic regime and how have we / are we realising our contemporary moments towards the self-definition of the the place we
call home.
