Queering the Exhibition presents a display of 12 video artworks on the topic of queerness. The selected video works will be interplayed, provoking a distorted and polyphonous environment, which stresses the (in)flexibility, fluidity and ambiguity of normative forms of sexuality. By means of projection, the exhibition is challenging, refiguring and queering the format to allow multiple levels of subjectivity and open up spaces for representation. ‘Queering the Exhibition’ seeks to establish an aesthetic, gender fluid and feminist approach to the display.
Curatorial Group: Damian Christinger, Kristina Grigorjeva, Christine Kaiser, Ronald Kolb, Ella Krivanek, Marco Meuli, Camille Regli, Dorothee Richter, Elena Setzer
